Shannon Youth Project provides a safe space for young people 12 to 24 years to engage in youth
programmes in the Shannon area.
Programmes include:
Youth Café Space, Creative Activity Groups, Issue based programmes, Leaderships Programmes,
Summer Camps, Youth Identity for young women, Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol awareness
workshops and Personal Development. The main space is based in Respond Community Building in
Rineanna View Shannon, V14XC97
Creative Hubs: B3 Warehouse and Allotment – Two Activity spaces based in Smithstown Shannon
and IIaunmanagh Allotment. The allotment is home to the horticultural projects and the warehouse
is home to a number of creative projects: including the Music Project, Art Space and Integration
Project where young people create murals, develop their music skills and participate in other
creative pieces, these spaces are created by young people for young people
Regular programmes
Thursday: First year Group 6-7pm
Friday Safe Space & Café (2 nd years +) 3.30-7pm
Saturday : Music project 2-4pm , Safe Space & Café (13-17years) 2-7pm
